JCSS Tots Strikes
Tots Strikes is a gentle, playful introduction to football for 2 and 3 year olds, built around games, movement and confidence, not competition or drills. No experience needed, nothing to prepare, and every child is welcome to join in at their own pace.

What to bring
Their first football memory, not their first trial
Tots Strikes is designed from the ground up for 2 and 3 year olds, not a scaled-down version of an older kids’ session. Every 45 minutes is full of games, movement and imagination, dribbling through cones, chasing bubbles, learning to kick and catch, with real football skills building in naturally along the way.
Every child settles in differently, and that’s completely normal. Some join in from the first whistle, others prefer to watch for a session or two before getting stuck in. Our coaches work with 2 and 3 year olds every week, so they know how to bring even the shyest starters in gently, at their own pace, with you close by throughout.
Parents and carers stay on site throughout the session. We ask that you don’t join in on the pitch yourselves unless a coach invites you to, so your child gets used to following the coaches rather than you.
Meet your Tots Strikes coach
Jack Walton, Founder & Head Coach
Jack’s football journey started on the grassroots pitches of Skegness, before taking him to Manchester to study Football Coaching & Management and into coaching roles across the UK, North America and Europe. He’s coached with Liverpool FC’s International Academy, managed a university futsal programme, and worked with UEFA-licensed coaches developing young players from Spain and Portugal.
Trusted by families across Skegness
Fantastic, kind coaches who go the extra mile — Jack and the team have brought on my grandson’s confidence no end. He’s not shy to try new things anymore.
Would 100% recommend JCSS for any level player. Our lad has come on leaps and bounds since day one, now training in Jack’s invite-only sessions.
My son just finished the 3-day camp and loved every minute, even the stormy weather didn’t put him off. He learnt new skills and loved every second
JCSS has been a huge football opener for our son, his confidence has grown and the skills he’s learnt are showing in his own game. Jack and his team are true professionals.
Jack’s Community Soccer School doesn’t just build better players, they build character, discipline and teamwork. An incredible camp with high-level coaching throughout.
We can’t recommend Jack’s Community Soccer School highly enough. Jack and his whole team are friendly, encouraging, patient and brilliant with my son.
Fantastic, kind coaches who go the extra mile and have brought on my son’s confidence no end. Best of all, he counts down the days till his next practice!
Jack and all at JCSS are brillian, my 12 year old has been in the development programme for over a year and has learnt so much. Can’t recommend enough
A few quick questions parents ask
What if my toddler doesn't want to join in?
Completely normal, and it happens most weeks. Some toddlers are in the middle of it from the first whistle, others want to watch for a session or two first, and both are fine. Our coaches work with 2 and 3 year olds every week and know how to bring a shy starter in gently rather than push them.
Do we need any experience or equipment?
No experience needed at all — that’s the whole point of Tots Strikes. Comfortable clothes and trainers are enough (see “What To Bring” above), nothing else to buy specially.
What happens if it's raining, or a session can't go ahead?
If the weather looks like it’ll affect a session, we’ll first look at moving it indoors. If one genuinely can’t run, it’s normally rescheduled rather than refunded, since most families are on monthly billing rather than paying per session. We aim to make that call as early as possible so you can plan your day around it, and through the winter months we’ve got indoor space to fall back on, so full cancellations are the exception rather than the rule.
Can I bring a sibling along to watch?
Of course, we actively encourage it. Siblings are welcome to watch pitchside with a parent or carer.
Do we have to commit to a term, or can we try one session first?
There’s no lengthy contract to sign, Tots Strikes runs on a simple £25-a-month rolling basis, so you can try it out without committing to a full term, and cancel anytime with a few days’ notice.
