Skegness born and raised, football-obsessed since he could walk, and now building the community coaching programme he wishes he’d had growing up.
Football was never really a choice, it was just always there.
Jack grew up in Skegness watching his grandad’s own football career, and it wasn’t long before he was out on the local pitches himself. At 15, he started volunteering through the Positive Futures programme, coaching younger kids in his own community, an experience that earned him Lincolnshire County Council’s Volunteer of the Month, and opened his eyes to just how much these sessions can mean to a child.
He left Skegness at 18 to chase football at a higher level, studying, scouting and coaching across the country and abroad. But the plan was always to bring what he learned back home. Jack’s Community Soccer School, founded in 2024, is that plan in motion, the same coaching he experienced at professional level, made warm, welcoming and accessible for every kid in the community he grew up in.

Positive Futures Volunteer Coach
Started coaching younger kids in Skegness. Lincolnshire County Council Volunteer of the Month.
BA (Hons) Football Coaching & Management
Graduated First-Class Honours.
Opposition Analyst & Video Scout
Analysed opposition for Chorley FC; joined Vélez CF as a Video Scout, later promoted to lead the scouting team.
Community & Inclusion Coaching
Delivered football for disability groups, veterans and refugees, plus HAF holiday camps and Premier League Kicks sessions.
Pro Camp Coach, USA & Canada
Coached across 12 US states and Canada on Challenger Sports’ international camp programme.
Futsal Manager & Futsal Camp UK
Grew a futsal programme from 5 to 24 players; coached alongside UEFA A-Licensed coaches at Futsal Camp UK.
First-Class Honours
Graduated with First-Class Honours, receiving Student’s Student of the Year and Best in Class for Football Coaching and Management.
MSc Sport Coaching
Postgraduate study alongside coaching, building the foundation for JCSS’s own approach to player development.
International Academy Soccer School Coach
Coached with Liverpool FC’s International Academy soccer school and worked on community projects with the Liverpool FC Foundation.
Founded Jack's Community Soccer School
Brought everything learned on the professional side of the game home to Skegness.
