About The U7/8 Development Programme

Our Development Pathway at U7/8 focuses on building strong foundations for young players ready to take their next step. At this stage, sessions are designed to improve core technical skills, introduce basic game understanding and build confidence in a more structured environment. Players begin to follow their Individual Development Plan, helping them develop good habits, enjoy the game and prepare for progression into older development squads.

What To Expect From Our U7/8 Squad

  • Structured, high-energy sessions focused on development and enjoyment
  • Small-sided games and regular game nights to develop match confidence
  • Technical skill work to build strong foundations on the ball
  • Introduction to position-specific understanding and game awareness
  • A clear development pathway with support through each player’s Individual Development Plan (IDP)

A Pathway for Committed Young Players

This programme is designed for young players who are ready to take their football more seriously and build on their foundations in a structured, high quality environment. It works alongside grassroots football without the pressure of weekly fixtures, while still offering a clear pathway for progression. Through tailored coaching, position specific development and a focus on long term growth, players are supported across every area of their game, helping them develop confidence, consistency and a deeper understanding of football as they progress.

Jack has coached across 12 U.S. states and Canada with Challenger Sports, helping players prepare for elite pathways like the U.S. college system. He’s also led teams in national competitions against top-level opposition, bringing valuable insights to our sessions.
