About Role:

We are looking to recruit a knowledgeable, professional and organised individual to support
our founder and coaches in developing both our Development Squad and Academy
programme.

The Academy programme is a prestigious programme, not only in Skegness but within
surrounding areas bringing a specific group of children aged 7-13YRS together to support a
high-performance/Talent Development environment.

This programme will be delivered as professional as we can possibly offer, expectations and standards will remain extremely high.

The focus of this programme sits in the technical and tactical development of these children
in the hopes that this furthers their opportunities and football understanding.

This programme will be delivered in Skegness on Friday’s 4:30-6PM and plays a key role in
the next steps of growth within Jack’s Community Soccer School.
For the right candidate, opportunities will then open for additional coaching hours through
JCSS’s Development Squads.

As we continue to grow, this individual should be able to support JCSS by understanding the
JCSS methodology and implementing this within session delivery.

We are looking to recruit the right individual in terms of background experience, knowledge
to date and current skillset.

Key Responsibilities (What will you be doing)

• Lead a range of technical/tactical topics, using technical/skill practices, Small-Sided
  games (SSG’s), phases of play (POP) and functions.
• Build and manage positive coach-athlete relationships with the children/participants
• Be capable of working within a multi-disciplinary team, with others who support the
  programmes.
• Understanding and implement the JCSS methodology.
• Consistently reflect our organisation in a positive way and build yourself a fixed role
  through continuous high standards.
• Display a clear understanding of Talent Development and various coaching styles.
• Have the ability to questions and critique where necessary to further understanding.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, safeguarding and well-being during
  activities. Support logistics, setup and equipment management, pre, during and post
  sessions. Work with coaches to provide a safe, fun and enjoyable environment for
  young people.
• Contribute to the planning, delivery and post analysis/reflection of sessions.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience of working with children in a football related environment across
  a range of formats (5 vs 5/7 vs 7/9 vs 9/11 vs 11)
•  Minimum requirement is having achieved or currently working towards the UEFA C
  licence qualification, those with UEFA B or above or have additional sport-related
  qualifications may take preference.
•  Capable of presenting yourself as a positive role model, which young people can and
  should look towards
• Must be professional, reliable, knowledgeable and capable of working in a more
  focused environment.
• Able to work in a diverse environment, promoting values of EDI (Equality, diversity
  and inclusivity)
•  Must have in-date first-aid and safeguarding qualifications
• Clean driving license and/or access to transport
• An in-date and valid DBS
• Must be above 18 years of age
